Eligibility Criteria
Students seeking admission to the B.Tech programme should meet the prescribed academic and examination requirements.
Admission requirements
Eligibility for First Year Engineering
For Maharashtra State candidates
- The candidate should be an Indian national.
- Must have passed HSC or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Should have studied Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject as the third subject.
- Must have obtained at least 50% marks in these subjects taken together (45% for reserved categories and PwD candidates from Maharashtra State).
- Should have appeared for MHT-CET and obtained a non-zero score, or hold a valid equivalent score as per the admission policy.
For All India / other eligible candidates
- Candidate should be an Indian national.
- Must have completed HSC or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Should have secured qualifying marks in one of the accepted entrance examinations or other state/national tests as prescribed.
- Preference may be given to candidates with valid JEE Main or MHT-CET score, depending on the current admission process.
- Diploma candidates may also be considered under the relevant lateral entry or equivalent regulations when applicable.
Direct second year admission
Eligibility for lateral entry
- Candidate should have passed a diploma course in Engineering and Technology from an approved institution.
- Candidate should have secured at least 45% marks in the relevant branch (40% for reserved categories and PwD candidates from Maharashtra State).
- Students with a B.Sc. degree may also be eligible under the applicable rules and subject conditions.
- Additional eligibility conditions may be applicable as per government and university directions.
